What student clubs have ran before?
Paintball Club - ran various trips to local paintball sites and organised training sessions in the Hexagon.
RAG (Raise & Give Club) - organised fundraising events, raised over £200 for local and national charities last year.
LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Trans) Group - promoted equality and celebrated diversity.
People & Planet Club - organised a Fairtrade Fashion Show.
Music Lounge - ran numerous high-profile gigs in the Hexagon.
Tai Chi Club - organised regular tai chi sessions in the Sports Centre.
Stop the Cuts Group - campaigned against the proposed government cuts to education in 2010-11.
What's happening this year?
The following clubs are running:
* Film Club - evening and lunchtime showings
* Living Ability Not Disability Club - meets Wednesdays 12-1pm in C435
* Guitar Hero Club - currently being set up
* LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual & trans) Group - meets Wednesdays 3-5pm in D483
* Anime Club - meets Wednesdays 12-1pm in B109
* Raise & Give (RAG) Club - currently being set up
You may like to join one of the clubs above or set up your own. . It's easy to set up new clubs so bring along your ideas.
